| I think I found where you got the image from- if you want the button to be constantly animated, sadly that is not possible with classic shell. |

| I can somewhat understand restricting animation between hot -> pressed and normal -> pressed, but I see little reason to prevent animation to return the start button to normal. |

| You'll have to explain what you want a bit more. Do you want the lights to spin, or should these frames be between normal and hot, etc. |

| I spent the past couple of days writing a java program for making animated start buttons. The program allows you to import a gif, make a static icon from 3 PNGs, or make a spinning icon from 2 PNGs. There will possibly be future updates to this, but for now this is what I have.
