Hi, It appears that the new version 4.3.1 still doesn't fix the issue I have with "PC settings" on Creators update, and which I had reported here: http://www.classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6887#p32194 Basically in Classic Shell's settings, Search Box tab, enabling "Sea...

Yesterday I put a fresh Windows copy on a computers, Creaters Update, and also I can confirm issues. At first it seemed to work fine, but after rebooting, I also get the explorer.exe crash/reboot loop.

Classic shell really requires an update!

The problem that you mention is handled well with the "inside menu", so we need the same with the cascade menu.

So you either get a sorted list of shortcuts followed by a sorted list of folders, or the other way around. I'd like to propose an option for mixed sorting, when installing a new program I gener...

I just want to say, add a help catagory since this thread would work so much better with that. Now on to the problem. I installed on the Classic Start Menu part of Classic Shell (No Explorer or IE) on a Windows 8.1 machine (Hence why I put it here. Again, no "help" forum). I think I toggle...

After some testing it looks like the installer also runs on Windows Vista with Service Pack 2. The MSI installation packages, however, do require at least Windows 7 and Windows Installer 5.0 to run.

The installer requires at least Windows 7 to run. I have tried using the Classic Shell installer in a virtual machine running a Windows 7 family operating system to extract the MSI installer and indeed they did extract and were provided. It would be preferable that future installers allow at least ...

Instead, I received an error message. See the attached image for the error message. I am using Windows XP Professional with Serv...

I have decided for consistency with the Aero theme to center the button. I would prefer the consistency with the Aero theme be limited to the Aero theme. otherwise, an inconstancy with other themes may be created, such as with the Windows classic themes or when no theme is used. Intuitively, when s...

Yes, kind of this option is already there, but... it is limited to "taskbar at the bottom" case. However this button also appears for other taskbar positions, for example it "appears" when taskbar is on vertical left side - and there is covers "show desktop/minimize all"...
