That did it - the problem was Tablet mode! I don't know how that option got set, but all is well now.

Thanks very much for the suggestion! I'll visit my neighbor tomorrow and see if - by some unknown method - Tablet mode was turned ON. Hopefully, I'll be able to post the results of this test tomorrow... Wayne |
