| thanks Guarav, Okay, now I get it. I add the & and the name appears are "F&avorites". Then, I just hit the A key and it gives it focus. Not sure why you said I need to use an accelerator key. Just plain "A" works. I tried to figure out how Windows gets the other items in ... |

I did rename it with an amphersand after the F. That doesn't change anything. The name then appears in classical shell as F&avorites.
That is a windows convention, but it appears classic shell does not adhere to it. |
