If the nature of Windows changes in the future from a service, back to a product, that doesn't bombard you with tremendously bloated, intrusive, disruptive, rude, worthless updates that leave you with no real control, freedom to tweak or keep the features you like, and if any fork of Classic Shell ... |

Well it's not my problem because I don't use Windows 10 and I never will. I have got no intention whatsoever of ever installing Windows 10. But I do use Windows 7 and 8 and find I do need a start menu on 8. I am very sorry that you have decided to discontinue Classic Shell. I have never used Windows... |

I have tried this and YES it works on my Windows 7. The only thing is that it over writes Windows Mail from Windows Vista. But the way round this to get WM working again. is to re name the Windows Mail old file back to Windows Mail. Now both Windows Mail and Outlook Express are running on my Windows... |

I have downloaded Classic Shell version 4.0.2 and I have found the Windows XP start menu. So problem solved. Thanks. |

Oh I didn't know that. that was one of the reasons I wouldn't upgrade to version 4. I think I tried the Beta 4 version and I never saw it there. At the moment I have got 3.6.8 version and the updater says I am using the latest version. |

I am a user of Classic shell and I use it on all my versions of Windows including Windows Vista. On Windows 8 you of course don't get a start menu,so using CS solves this problem. I noticed that you have now dropped the Windows XP Luna start menu from version 4 and I would very much like to see it r... |
