I've just found a thread on the Internet, discussing Classic Shell, and they suggested to Disable / Enable in IE 3 related add-ons: Classic Explorer Bar + Explorer BHO Class + ClassicIEBHO Class. I Disabled them (without rebooting computer) and the problem persisted. I guess it means, that the probl...

@ Gaurav, hank you for looking at your registry settings. I've compared them to mine and those are exactly the same. In attempt to fix the problem I've unregistered "mousefocus.dll" and set Classic Shell option " Settings | Navigation Pane | Auto-naviga...

Good to know that. But the reason why I'm asking question in this forum is - I see different (and related) behavior depending on Classic Shell options: "Navigation pane style | Auto-navigate to the selected folder". Here is what I see if "Auto-navigate to the selected folder" is ...

I think this functionality should be included in new Classic Shell releases. I'm sure many users would appreciate that. Predictability of UI and resemblance to the classic XP design is what makes this shell Classic :) Thank you again. I don't know how I'd run post-XP Windows OS without this program :D

Thanks a lot, @ Gaurav ! Although I'd prefer not to move focus by mouse position. Time-to-time, when I open a new WE, mouse happens to be on its right pane and that moves focus to it (even if I press TAB 3 times). But I guess I can live with that drawback (we'll see find out it in a while :D). Rant:...

When I open new Windows Explorer in Windows XP, it always points focus on Navigation (left) pane. It is thoughtful, because it allows me to start navigating immediately. I press Down arrow key and next folder in Navigation pane becomes selected and I can see its content in the right pane (if I want ...

I've noticed, that re3cently "auto-navigation" stopped working. In navigation pane using keyboard I move focus from one folder to another, then wait ... and WE doesn't open content of the folder in its right pane. Classic Shell settings - Settings for Classic Explorer | Navigation Panel * ...
