In Classic Start Menu Settings, type the following into the Search box at the top of the Settings window: delay
You can adjust the various delays there. Each setting has help in its tooltip/infotip which appears when you hover over it with the mouse. |

I think the smarter thing would be to avoid Windows 10 than to avoid Classic Shell! Just my two cents. Although if you find out what's causing the issue with the Start Menu and Explorer.exe on Windows 10, do let us know. |

No replacing F3 is not a good idea because F3 opens different things on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 and users prefer different things. On PCs which have IDT audio, the audio driver (IDTNC64.cpl file to be specific) is known to be incompatible with the latest Windows 10. It can cause Explorer/Classic Shell to crash. Uninstall IDT audio driver or get the updated fixed one. Simply removing IDTNC64.cpl should fix the crash too. |

Yeah it would've been great to have it working for AllFileSystemObjects. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
The only time I've seen System.FileCount work is in Windows Explorer stacked search results. Unfortunately, stacking was removed after Windows Vista. |
