Perhaps explain to the IT guys? Do you have Windows 8 at work, If so then using this would be good. Emailing this to yourself shouldn't get you into too much trouble. It does use transparencies.., in the first state the background is transparent, while the foreground is white. In the other 2 states the background is black while the foreground is clear. Well after looking at T-Clock it does looks nice as it displays date as well.
