Agreed, MS could have made their precious links undeletable/unmovable. With all previous Windows OS, I've always de-cluttered my Start Menu of links that I know I'll never use and I've not had a problem until now.

| The windows 10 startmenu will likely not be supported in classic shell for a long time, if at all... However the upgrade to windows 10 will be free, upon its release. and I would recommend taking advantage of it :) What do you mean? | I changed the MS user account picture at Outlook.com but the old image is still showing when I start up Windows 8. How can I get it to show new image? What is the file path to this image and perhaps I can change it there? Thanks for any help. |

| Thank you so much, got it sorted. I couldn't find a 'search box in a settings window' but found a tab called "File Pane" and was able to put tick at 'Show sort headers in all views'. Maybe I am still on an older version of program. All ok now anyway, thanks again! |
