Good day all.
Well, I had time to test this week - Found the problem: It is once again that CLOVER tool I use to add TABS to Explorer, it breaks refreshing. Thought I'd let you know.

Good idea, but it did not fix the problem. I actually went back a few system backups, thinking I'd broken it maybe recently, but nope, wasn't working earlier either. Is is working for you? For me the DESKTOP refreshes and I can see the deskop.ini files appear and disappear, but the explorer window b... |

Good day. Does this work for you guys: ⋅ Add the Show Hidden Files and show System Files buttons to the Classic Shell Toolbar ⋅ Go to some folder with hidden files and toggle the hidden files with the button ⋅ Does your explorer refresh? I think this used to work, but I... |

Ah man, this is a sad day indeed! I've been using Classic Shell since version 2. I use it on Windows 7 for the extras, like Classic IE, but would you believe I also use Classic Shell's Start Menu (in Windows 7 skin) on Windows 7? That's right, I use Classic Shell instead of the native menu even tho ... |

Hahaha, well, I wanted to know why I had to pick 21 to show 18 results ;-) Indeed, icon size changes things, but then Minimum Menu Height is not the minimum number of search results, because otherwise the icon size would just make the menu bigger for the same minimum. Oh well, we shall never know wh... |

Hey Gaurav, I don't think they have an API-Guide or anything like this; it's a hack and from what I can see they're pretty private about how it works. There are newer versions, which might fix my bug , but the installer is in Chinese (I've had to take pictures with my phone and then use picture-tran... |

Good day. I have been "play-testing" Clover3 (v3.0.406, the English one which does not call home to China) - it adds Tabs to Explorer. I notice that with this installed, my Explorer "Navigation Pane" reverts to the Windows 7 default mode, with the little disappearing arrows and n... |

Good day. Ever since the "Minimum Menu Height" setting was added to Classic Start Menu I have been having a hard time understanding it. The help bubble says it is the minimum number of search results to show. I recently cleared my UserAssist, so now "Minimum Menu Height" is again... |

Hey Gaurav. Yeah, I bet it took lots of experimentation to get the right algorithm to show the most used programs. I read the links you posted: Funny how they say "And then we had to tweak it" - Yeah, they did tweak it: Notice how Microsoft Office programs appear right smack in the middle ... |

Good day. Okay, so I deleted IpNetInfo from UserAssist registry keys, then ran it several times -> It quickly climbed back into Windows' own Start Menu, but STILL REFUSED to show in Classic Start Menu. Hmmm. Screw it; I deleted ALL of UserAssist (using the Windows Start Menu options). Then ran IpNet... |

Hi Gaurav. I downloaded Start Menu Frequent Programs; it shows pretty much the same thing as UserAssit program - i.e. 99% of all listed programs have a count=0. I have no idea how you managed a runCount of 72 for Notepad - I've used my Notepad just as much, but its count remains at 6 (my highest cou... |

Hi guys. Thanks for the quick reply. Nope, I haven't pinned the program anywhere. And it shows in Classic Shell if I use "Recent Programs" - it just won't show in "Frequent Programs" mode, and it really should, since I use it frequently. Is Classic Shell using the "UserAssis... |

Good day. I'm sure this has been discussed before, but the Forum will not let me search for "Frequent Programs" and so I am unable to find the topic. I have recently discovered a small bug in the start menu with my new Kaspersky Anti-Virus on Win7. No problem, I thought, I'll just switch t... |
