"Shell hardware detection" is the service in question.
not ssdp ..
& i needed to get rid of many useless services to free my computer's ram & chipset.

I don't know what disabled it & i don't want to know, it was wasting my time & driving me nuts,
so i recovered a backup of the registry & will have to go over step by step & slowly to reregister some apps. it's functioning now ... . |

i did all that Jcee & no if i right click, it usually freezes & sometimes i can't even right click at all ((

i am stuck & it's not the theme, i installed & reinstalled cs up to 3 previous versions & it freezes everything each time i open it even with a default theme

it doesn't work & csm wasn't running during the skin tweak ((
could that be the skin long filename ?
or services i disabled following:

| Ivo, i don't know what i did wrong but i edited a theme in reshack to change the main font, submenu font & caption font, but each time i start my computer with that startmenu, it freezes my explorer.exe & i can't right click on desktop icons etc .. . so i have to kill explorer.exe & rest... |
