Well I guess I was able to answer my own question. Though Windows 8.0 and 8.1 will operate identical as fixed by Classic Shell, the big "M" is going to cut off support for 8.0 2 years from 8.1's release date. MSFT answered this question for me when they announced that. |

If I am happy with Windows 8.0 as fixed by Classic Shell is there any benefit to installing 8.1 only to fix it with Classic Shell all over again? |
