No, this system is too fast for there to be a 3 second delay in doing anything. The VM has 16 virtual processors and runs from an SSD array. OK, that strategy worked. I thought to start the dump sequencing process before clicking the Start button, and sure enough caught a delay. Win 10 build 10240, updated. This seems to have grown in probability since I first reported it against the beta. It happens a lot now. For what it's worth, with a 3 monitor setup (all 100 ppi, all set to 100% display scaling) I can't reproduce the problem. The two monitors on the sides are turned up sideways (i.e., so they're taller than they are wide). Entire desktop is 4960 x 1600 pixels, display card is ATI Radeon HD 7850. -Noel |

Hi Ivo, I didn't think there was much chance I'd be able to capture the problem, but incredibly I just managed it. Has anyone else seen an occasional several second delay in opening the Classic View Start Menu on Win 10 after the Start button is pressed? Sorry to say, nope - Run does not presently seem to do anything at all. I select it but the menu just disappears and no Run box pops up. OK, on the first item, I now realize the "See more results" entry comes from the [ ] Search files box being checked. It's also checked on my Win 8.1 system, but I keep the search indexer disabled, so it was non-functional (and showing a red mark). However, the Run box is still non-function... |

With Big Muscle's Aero Glass package and a Windows 10 installation that does not itself blur the Taskbar, I find it's impossible to get Taskbar blur with Classic Shell version 4.2.2. We use it and love it here at ProDigital Software - a small software business. Back when the sources were available I fully vetted the program.

When you speak of corruption, could that be related to the visual noise that seems to be there in Windows Vista mode when the buttons are fading-in/out? I disabled the fade-out and things look better.
