So right now I effectively have no Classic Shell. I tried to follow the uninstall troublesho... |

Much like Classic Shell lets you customize taskbar stuff via the Taskbar tab, I'd like Classic Shell to let me customize the Action Center. Primarily so I can disable glass but keep transparency. |

Sweet, I'm looking forward to there being transparency stuff for Classic Shell's metro skin. Not glass though, P.U. |

Thanks, that fixed it. I must have not copied that folder out of the zip. Now, maybe I'm not find the policy I'd like to find, but is there a way to make Classic Explorer not show its toolbar by default? Whenever a new user is created and they login, they seem to have that toolbar. I tried (possibly... |

Classic Shell 4.0.4 introduces Group Policy support for its own settings. The file, C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\PolicyDefinitions.zip includes the policy definitions. If you have an Active Directory domain, extract the files to %logonserver%\sysvol\%userdnsdomain%\policies\PolicyDefinitions\ or ... |

Thanks very much, I learned how to do a new thing. : )
I still think this should be added by default into that list, if not displayed by default. But, I'm set for myself now at least. |

Hey. I'd like to ask for the ability to put a link to the OneDrive in the start menu, like how you can have My Documents or My Pictures there. I noticed in Windows 10 you can do this, so how about letting ClassicShell do it for Windows 8.1 users?
Thanks. |

Oh, interesting. I thought since a start menu didn't exist in Windows 8 that classicshell named the folders. No worries then. All is fine. |

Yes. Rename "Windows Accessories" in the All Programs menu, to "Accessories" And put "Windows System" and "Windows Ease of Access" both into that Accessories folder as well.
This is what makes sense as it has always been this way. |

I've been using classic shell pretty much since it came out, just to get the Cascading All Programs menu. I know I'm two years late with this, but I'd really love it if that were the default setting so it would remind everyone of how much better that style works than the "inside main menu"... |
