I tested the menu fade out transition on Startisback doesn't affect the performance of opening a program, so i agree if it should be added on CSM.

I think it would be nice if classic start menu have menu transitions after clicking an item and closing start menu with fade out/slide out animation like in this illustration...

Hello!

I've just test a new beta version of Classic Shell 4.2.6. I'm so happy with new metallic skin for windows 7 style that has many customization options.
It's nice if you can provide too for windows XP style, because windows 7 style is little slower on my PC.
