To force disable automatic check for new version, policy must be set to "Enabled", Locked to this value and the checkbox "Enable automatic checks for new versions" turned off. I did exactly this, but users still are greeted by a update notification a few seconds after logging in... |

I'm using GPO's to customize classic shell in my domain. But for an unknown reason the automatic update policy doesn't seem to have any effect. It doesn't matter if I confgure the policy: 'Enable automatic checks for new versions' as Disabled or as Enabled without checking the other checkbox. Other ... |
