If you have the original Win10 and completely turn off (disable) updates, will all the features of the original CS work?

(Please don't bother responding about turning off updates.)

There really isn't anything in there about the 'UP Button'. Only about the Explorer Bar which is there. I have the Back & Forward arrows, but no Up button. I tried disabling the button, then re-enable, but no difference. I did do the 'Command Bar' removal by substituting the "shellstyle.dll...

I just noticed I don't have the 'Up' button in Explorer. No idea how long ago it's not been there. I opened Classic Explorer (v4.2.5) and it showed that it was still enabled, but after I clocked ok, it still didn't show. I see there is a v 4.3.1 which I removed the older version and installed this. ...

Two questions about that annoying, space wasting Command Bar (that has the 'Organize' tab) in Win 7 (64bit); If you hide it, the problem is there doesn't seem to be a way if the Menu Bar gets removed/hidden to restore it. Same goes if the Details Pane gets enabled, there isn't a way to disable (hide...

I LOVE Classic Shell for Windows 8.1. ....... Microsoft could learn a few things from this.
There is nothing to learn, just go back to Win 2k.
Out of curiosity, how close does classic shell get to the 2k look with W8?

Two features missing are;

1. The ability to remember any resized window like ShellFolderFix does,
2. And the ability to remove that annoying, unnecessary new explorer bar below the hidden Menu.

Has either been attempted here?

Text in the right pane; can spaces be added between each line and/or the icons & text be made larger? It's hard to read and also hard to maneuverer the pointer due the the closeness of the text. The text in the left pane is fine, amply spaced unlike the right pane. Also, what do "Column Bre...
