| I ended up having a program called StartKiller load for the restricted users which removed the start button, group policy to disable the windows key on the keyboard and using GP to put a shortcut to This PC (which only shows 1 network drive) & Printers on the desktop which is all the need access... |

| All I can say as a certainty at the moment is that a user with no policies to lock down the desktop, start menu or taskbar work fine and users with policies applied (not just classic shell policies) experience the issue. At the moment i can't sorry, it's starting to do my head in =D have been playing with it for 4 straight days now trying to get to the bottom of it, just when i think i have it nailed it proves me wrong  |
