Because I mainly intend to use it on Windows 8.1.
And Classic Shell 3.6.8 is not meant to be used on Windows 8.1 as far as I know (and, even if it works, which I have not tested, it still could potentially stop working with future updates of Windows 8.1). |

| I don't see why this would be a reason to stop using it. The reason is: I no longer trust the software, especially not after this change hasn't even been mentioned in the changelog. As Ivo said, there were multiple different "Classic Shell" installers, almost all of them hardly different ... |

how does Classic Start Menu achieve disabling the taskbar transparency in Windows 8.1?
Is there any way to disable it without Classic Start Menu (i.e. with built-in tools like the registry editor or an open source third party tool or something like that)?

in the Classic Start Menu Settings, there is a "Reset all settings" option.
Could you please add a "Reset all settings for this tab" option, which resets only the settings of the currently selected tab?
