I tried to avoid 3rd party apps to "restyle" win8.1 back to a more 7ish UI, but after struggling for a month I decided to test Classic Shell and... well, it's simply great!

This said, I only found a small issue: the Chrome Apps button doesn't show the little window with my apps anymore and right clicking it just says "start chrome apps" or "remove this button".

Am I the only one who has this problem? I can live without that button, but I gotta say it was pretty useful...

Classic Shell doesn't replace the Explorer shell or modify the OS in any way. It just installs a Start Menu and Explorer+IE addons. It does nothing to third party apps so I don't understand how Google Chrome is related to Classic Shell.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough (English is not my native language), I 'll try to explain it better.

Google Chrome can add a "button" to Windows bar but it can be considered a folder with a dedicated icon, with links to the Chrome Apps (Calendar, Gmail, Keep, Youtube, ecc) that in fact are just link to Google websites; I also added Mega extension for Chrome and it appeared in that place as well.

After installing Classic Shell that icon stopped working: the left clic does nothing and the right clic can only remove it or "open" it (but it does not open anything at all actually).

Update: after the 2nd reboot everything works fine and I did nothing at all...
Consider the issue solved!
