I recently updated to Windows 8.1. I don't have a touch enabled screen (this is a standard desktop). Windows 8.1 insists on popping up a "hint" box telling me how to swipe from the edge to switch between apps (which I can't do). Unfortunately, this "helpful" (not) little box won't go away, and permanently sits on top of everything that might appear in that portion of the screen. See this screen shot:
Does anyone know how to get rid on this annoyance?
