 Post subject: Control Panel not listed

Hello,

I do not have Control Panel listed above Network Connections. I tried adding Control Panel to menu but it's not appearing. Help. Running Win8.

another user had the same problem, it was a problem with his Windows 8 install, in the end he had to reinstall it with the disk.. dont know if yours is related.. but its here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=333

There are 2 requirements for Control Panel to show:
1. On Special Items tab, "Don't display this item" must not be selected.
2. On Customize Start Menu tab, 'ControlPanelItem' must be present.

Step 1 reversed fixed it for me.
