So earlier today, I received a PM from SebastianOnofrei4454, saying this:

And it occured to me that...he/she/it/they was/were right. So after fighting with the Alpha values of the image for about an hour to undo the Alpha Premultiplication, I got these:

Alpha Premultiplication
There has to be an Adobe plugin or some program that reverses it exactly back.
I Googled ages ago, without success.
Someone out there must know the trick. :(

I don't know what you both are discussing about.....but splitwirez made a striking
button and i modified it for win8 using those glass bricks.......i hope its OK with splitwirez......... :|

Windows Style Builder can sort of do something about it...but only if you already have the image in an MSSTYLEs...
