Hey. Do you want to modify or make your own simple bitmaps for a skin,
without bursting brain cells figuring it out?
I found this neat little free image/bitmap editor.
Looks like SmarK was using it too.
It's called Pixelformer
One can see the different layers very easily, of a bitmap made from scratch,
or an exported skin bitmap from a resource viewer/hacker.
By clicking one of the three icons in the program,
it shows normal combined view, color only, and alpha only.
It can manipulate the magical alpha layer, and easily saves as 32 bit.

It looks a number of years old, but works well, for one image at a time.
I was using the bitmap editor in XN Resource Editor,
but it would crash, if I moved the mouse wheel. Got kind of frustrating after awhile.
All the big image editors are too complicated to learn from,
and not worth the time, or money, if a simple bitmap needs a little tweaking.
I highly recommend Pixelformer for anyone starting out, like me.
I was basically blind to the illusive alpha layer before.

Ok.
Back to brain cell bursting with learning parameters of Ivos skins.
Now if I could only find a real time program, to preview the changes made.
That would speed up everything.
