Hi,
I have a problem with classic shell when running on an MS Surface Book running i7, 64 bit Win 10 Pro.
On the Surface book the Sleep option does not show up on the Shutdown menu (only Hibernate) although both of them appear on the current menu items.
When I tried to change the hibernate menu item manually to the sleep command it disappeared too.
However changing Shutdown to display as a link works normally - Sleep appears in the combo box and functions.
On my Desktop PC (Asus motherboard, i7, windows 10 Pro) it's the opposite.
Could it be you get some unexpected return value from an API call for the Surface book while checking the availability of the Sleep function ?

Please advise for a workaround / fix

Thanks
Andre

That would mean the OS reports that sleeping is not supported. You can try using this tool: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... s/bb897541 to create your own sleep command.
