My coworker got Windows 8.1 and is heavily complaining about white text in the task bar. Is there a way to get black coloured text? Thanks! |

Unfortunately no, the text color can't be changed but the Taskbar can be made a darker shade from the Personalization Control Panel. |

More unfortunately, the taskbar colour is bound to the window title colour, that has black text. |

First install UxStyle from http://uxstyle.com/ (Don't worry about the possibly bugged warning). Classic Shell 4.3.0 now lets you customize taskbar color and taskbar text color. |
