Hello, I just made an account to post my suggestion. Remember in Windows XP/Vista that you could drag a folder to the side of the screen and create a toolbar ? You could even have more than one folders inside a toolbar (or have a secondary toolbar too). I've found a software that partially emulates that functionality, it's called Coolbarz, but it's not 100% (folder contents don't update when you add new things in the folder, can't double-dock etc.). I was wondering if this is a planned feature for Classic Shell, seems to be like it's one of the few missing features from XP. Thank you very much for your time, and congratulations on creating an essential piece of software !

There is another one called OldBar. See if you find it useful: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-S ... dBar.shtml

I tried using OldBar a few days ago, it makes up for some functionality that Coolbarz hasn't (you can manually refresh folder contents, can't do that in Coolbarz), but it still doesn't emulate the classic toolbar functionality as found in XP/Vista.

There aren't plans to add anything to Classic Shell for it would require introducing another separate component from Start Menu or Explorer add-ins. Maybe a Sidebar launcher gadget could fill the void or some free dock solution. There were many launcher gadgets for Vista/7.
