I hope u understand wat i mean. Previously i set it to 3. now if i hit [win] and type for exhample PHO then it shows the list. I want to make it down to 1 caracter only. There was a setting for it in a previous version but i cant find it anymore. can somebody help please?

The setting is for how many search results to show maximum. If more results are found than this, they won't be shown until you press Tab. It's on the Search Box tab of Classic Start Menu settings -> Max search results. Default value is 20. If you increase it, typing few characters will show more results.

No, its the minimum nuber of caracters for auto compete. There was a setting for this before, which i was set to only 3 chars.

I guarantee you there has never been a setting in Classic Shell to limit the number of characters. You may have seen it in some other software.

As for auto-complete, it waits until it detects you are typing a path. So you really have to type 3 characters - like "C:\". But that's the behavior of the system auto-complete and there is no setting for that.

Ah sorry. I was stupid, but i set it to 9999 and now it does what i wanted :) thanks!
