I have used CS for years. Now use it on Windows 10. One of the features i use often is hibernate. However, about 10% of the time when restarting the system after Hibernate, it hangs. It hangs when you turn on the computer. The system displays the manufacture's logo and the circular dots spin about half a revolution then stops. There is no way to get out of that except to turn the system off (not Ctl-Alt-Del, not Esc). Of course, when you turn it back on, everything hibernated is lost.

Cannot capture any logs or dumps.

This never happened with Classic Shell under Windows 7 or 8.

From your Read Me file i am using Version 4.3.0

Press Win+X keys together on your keyboard and choose "Hibernate" from the "Shut down or sign out" menu. Does it still hang?

I will try that. But remember it does not always happen. If it were consistent i could find out immediately.

Windows 10 with Anniversary Update there is no Hibernate option. Only
Sign Out
Sleep
Shutdown
Restart

I assume with other Windows 10 users some must use the Hibernate function.

Oh that has to be turned on. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options. On the left click, Choose what the Power buttons do and click the blue link, Change settings that are currently unavailable. Accept the UAC prompt and scroll down. You will see an option to turn on Hibernate. Check it and click OK.

Now press Win+X and Hibernate will be list. See if it hangs from there too. Try a couple of times or try using for a few days if it doesn't happen every time. That is the OS menu outside of Classic Shell. If it hangs from there too, it means the problem is related to Windows, and not Classic Shell.
