I've been using Classic Shell and Folder Options X on Windows 7 to reduce icon spacing in both the navigation and file panes as mentioned in
http://www.classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1049.
Recently, I've been encountering 'website restore errors' with IE9. In trying to fix them, I reset the IE9 settings at 'Internet Options' -> 'Advanced' -> 'Restore advanced settings' and 'Reset'. This didn't fix the errors. So, I upgraded to IE11. With IE11, the errors are gone, but now Folder Options X does not work. For example, I have 'Column headers in all views' checked, but headers are not shown in all views. Also, the icon spacing is no longer reduced in the file pane.
I do not know whether resetting the IE9 settings or IE11 caused the issue. Does anyone know how to get Folder Options X to work again?
