Please before you look at title and say something like *Sigh that defeats the purpose hear me out.

Cortana windows personal macro spy is directly linked to start menu. Essentially once you disable her your startmenu gets grayed out and doesn't function as seen here! (Sorry for crappy screenshot windows wouldn't let me snapshot normally)



If your curious about how I learned this is because I have had over 50 OS installations of 10 and anytime I have disabled Cortana - the start menu fails. This lets me the user know two things, first off people who won't let Microsoft spy on them are not privileged enough to have the default start menu and secondly we need an alternative of the same option. I like both Classic and Win 10 Start can you create some sort of option similar or near exactly to win10 startmenu minus the spying please?

I would love to add - look at the lack of Cortana!
