Is there any way in Classic Explorer or otherwise to remove the folder band? I think that's the official name for the tool bar with items like "Organize," "Include in library," etc. This hack didn't work for me, and I don't know if it's because Classic Explorer is overriding it or what. Thanks for any help.

Classic Shell does not affect the folder band in any way. Are you using a Classic theme? From what I've heard the hacks out there only apply to the Aero theme.

OK, thanks Ivo. Yes, I'm using Aero so I'm not sure what the problem is, but I guess it's not related to Classic Shell if it has no effect on the folder band.

This hack worked for me for all themes, classic and aero. Possibly, you are hacking the wrong file.
