I have just joined the forum as don't want to mess my system up by doing the wrong thing.
I have read through the posts and can't find my answer.
I have resisted installing Windows 10 until now but it is going to force me to download it shortly. Do I need to uninstall Classic Shell before installing Windows 10 to avoid any problems afterwards? I have been running Classic Shell since 8.1

No, just update to the latest version before moving to Windows 10.
