Yesterday my system upgraded to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and it removed the classic shell. It showed a message says the classic shell was removed because it was incompatible with this new edition of Windows 10. Is a new version of classic shell available or in the works that will be compatible with this new version of Windows 10? |

I'm trying and trying with command lines and without, Installation not possible. The previous ClassicShell Folder is: C:\Programs\Classic Shell Before upgrading to Win 10 Anniversary Classic Shell was running perfectly. Uninstalling the previous one installed not possible. (as 'msi' file denied) ClassicShellSetup_4_3_0.exe does not extract the "ClassicShellSetup64_4_2_5.msi". No Chance. Is there a clear way to reinstall ClassicShell ? Thanks for your help, Raimund . |

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads Use the manual uninstall option. |
