Ever since I upgraded Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, unlocking my PC goes straight to the Metro screen instead of the Desktop. I have "Skip Metro Screen" ticked on in Classic Start Menu 4.1.0.
Any ideas?

Another way to change the same setting is right click on the Taskbar -> Properties -> Navigation tab. Check the option "When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start".

I am a Windows enthusiast and did Classic Shell's testing and usability/UX feedback.

Hmm. Apologies, I think this might be due to remote desktop. Sometimes I remote desktop to a Win 8.1 PC from another Win 8.1 PC. When the rdp session is maximized and when unlocking the client PC, the RDP session goes straight to Metro. I've got Classic Shell running on both PCs.
Probably has nothing to do with Classic Shell (which is great btw). I suspect just an RDP issue.
