heyas! i'm on windows 7 64 bit, with classic shell and classic file explorer. did something change recently??? i used to always be able to sort files by name, grab several files, then change the sort order to date, and scroll down the view, and they would all still be selected -- and hence, i could find the latest file. but now, when i switch to date sort, all the files are deselected. did i press something??? did microsoft update something? :/ thanks a bunch! |

Classic shell shouldn't affect that functionality, and it is unlikely that microsoft changed such functionality (atleast intentionally) My guess is a 3rd party app or corrupted file in windows is causing the issue you can try to open command prompt and type 'sfc /scannow' and see if windows detects any issues.. otherwise you might have to try system restore or something (though I would suspect that the issue isnt worth that much effort to you) |
