I am a big Sonic fan and I was wondering if someone would be willing to make me a Sonic start menu skin for both Classic and Windows 7 styles.

I am considering this request, but I won't be making it for both styles so which do you prefer?

It would also help if you better conveyed what you want it to look like? Sonic standing on a plane background for example like this:


or something involving a backdrop of one of the levels?

I would say classic style that also has a compatibility with two columns. As for how it should look, I'll leave it up to you. Go crazy if you want to, just make sure that it doesn't use metro colors because I use Windows 7.

Many of the options just flat out break the skin :P Anyways heres your skin (You will need to set a few of the options to how I have them in the settings/screenshot)

If you want Jcee's skin, with added orange buttons, and blue submenu,
here.
Make sure dvd drawer is turned off. No time to strip away. :)

And here is a taskbar skin
and start button (made by kamifox1: http://kamifox1.deviantart.com/art/Soni ... -397408497) But Im attaching it here, because It needed a little cropping to fit better.. Check 'align to corner of screen' and the best size is between 45 and 80

EDIT: And here is an updated skin (based on Juniper7's version) for it :P

Those were remnants from when I was testing the minimum/maximum widths of the start menu to make sure the pattern repeated properly :P

Thank you for helping me with this. I have one more request: would you be willing to, instead of implementing a font, add in an option to change my font freely.

Rather, than doing that. (though it is possible, im somewhat busy as of late)
Here are the steps to change the font manually;
Download Reshacker http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/#download
Open the .skin file with reshacker
Click the skin folder, then the only file in it
then Ctrl+f to open a search
type 'font' then change the font listed
hit F3 to find the next instance of the word 'font' (this may only work in v 3.60 i recall the new version having this feature broken)
then replace the font type listed on the same line again
repeat till there are all fonts are changed, then compile, and save (you gotta save on desktop or downloads, because reshacker does not have access to save in your skins directory)
