I have found a very reproducible bug on my computer.

I am on a Lenovo T410 Running Windows 10 Edu N.

I have found that when i type into the search bar in the Classic Shell Menu, and then press Escape or remove all the characters in the search bar (with Backspace),
Classic Shell kills the explorer.exe process and it restarts.
This causes any
- taskbar modifications to restart as well. It also causes the
- Classic Shell settings menu to close
- as well as any file explorer windows
- causes the desktop to flicker to black then normal once reloaded.

This happens every time I do the action. Is anyone else having this issue?

This means Explorer is crashing. You can capture a crash dump as per instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6 Analyzing the dump will reveal the reason of the crash.
