I'm having issues with pinned programs not appearing in the start menu after pinning them with the right-click > Pin to start menu (Classic Shell) option.

Also, physically dragging programs from the 'All Programs' menu will produce a no symbol.

I've attached an image of the programs I want pinned sitting in the ~AppData\Roaming\ClassicShell\Pinned folder.

Is there an option in the settings I've accidentally enabled that hides or disables this function?

Check the setting "Pinned Programs folder" in the Main Menu tab. What does it say?

It's set as 'Use Pinned folder'.

Maybe it's a permissions issue. Try following the instructions here and get full ownership and grant admin permissions for the Pinned folder: http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-take-own ... indows-10/

I just checked and I already have full control over the folder where those pinned shortcuts are.

Save your settings to XML file and attach it here. It may be some specific combination of settings that is causing this.
