I've been running Classic Shell 3.5.1 for several years now in Windows 7 64bit and have never upgraded because what I have runs fine...except for one thing. From the very beginning after installing, the My Computer or just Computer icon in the start menu disappeared! I've tried everything to get it back. No go. It's not a big problem, but is an annoyance. Anyone have an idea how to get it back?? Thanks!

To restore Computer, go to the tab called Special Items in Start Menu Settings and set it to "Display as a link" or menu. Also if it still does not show up, go to Customize Start Menu tab and drag "Computer" from the right column to the left where you want it in the Start menu.

By the way, version 3.5.1 is very old and unsupported. You can upgrade to the latest version which preserves all your settings and all your features. As an extra precaution, you can save all your settings using the "Backup" button to an XML file and then restore them in the new version if they get reset.
