I don't know what key combo I pressed but I now have BOTH classic shell and windows 10 start screens displaying... HELP how do I turn 10 off?

Maybe Tablet Mode got turned on in your Windows 10. Press Win+A keys together to show the Action Center. Turn off "Tablet Mode" from there.
Also, to make sure only Classic Shell's menu is set to open, right click the Start button -> Settings. Check "Show all settings" at the top.
Go to the Controls tab and set "Left click opens" and "Windows Key opens" to Classic Start Menu.

That was it exactly , Tablet mode was turned on. Turned it off and all has returned to normal! Thank you !
