Hi guys,
if I select the option frequently used programmes (Tab Main Menu) my start menu is empty (but of course my manually added links are shown). However if I select recently used ones it works normally.
Is that a bug, or is there maybe some windows option I (maybe accidentially) triggered, which is blocking classic shell from getting the relevant information?
Reinstall as well as restoring the original settings does not work however.
System is Win10, very latest version (1709 or so I think).
Cheers,
sam

Any ideas? Could it be a bug or a Win10-setting problem?

Possibly the feature to track program usage is turned off (this is a Windows feature, not a Classic Shell feature)
Go to the Start settings in Windows and turn on the setting to show the must used apps.

Great thanks, that did the trick (maybe there should be a hint to that feature in form of a tooltip or so).
