I'm sure this is somewhere here but I can't find it. How do I get My Computer and Network Neighbor Hood added to the desktop ?

In the Start Menu search box, type the words "Show or hide common icons on the desktop" (without the quotes) or simply: desktop icons and open it. Check Computer and Network and click OK. By the way, this is not related in any to Classic Shell. Classic Shell only includes the Start Menu component, some File Explorer addin functionality and IE addin. The desktop and Taskbar are still part of Windows.

Thanks it worked.

I'm using a Surface Pro and the standard colours are not great. The background colour on most forms is light grey not white and the Metro screen also light grey with black lines around the icons and most of the graphics are just black outlines. Not sure why.

On the check boxes on programs, Eg I accept, I do not accept, are often black writing on very dark backgrounds which makes it hard to read.

I run classic theme on my XP desktop, Classic Style and Windows Standard Colour.

I was hoping to make the surface the same.

Thanks for a great program. Windows8 have missed the boat with their home screen. It takes so many click to change Ip address of cards etc, when you can actually find the settings.

Thanks for your help.
