Through the help of this great forum, I was able to edit the font in the Metro skin, learn about the different levels of taskbar transparency, and now I hope folks can give me advice about the systray icons.

My Windows 10 netbook has only a 10" screen so I would prefer to have an auto-hide taskbar that's also completely transparent. The rub is, the transparent taskbar's systray white icons won't show against the white background of a Word document.

In Windows 10's theme section, I've experimented with the white high contrast theme and found that there are black icons available for the systray.

Is it possible to use those black systray icons with Classic Shell/Metro skin?

Many thanks for any help, and many thanks for the help I've already found while going through this forum.

Jake

Tray icons are not modified by Classic Shell in any way.

Thank you for your quick post. I was afraid that would be the case.
