Classic Shell: Forum

I was having trouble with my trackpad on my windows 8 system, it wasn't allowing be to do a 2-finger scroll reliably. I took it to Geeksquad because I may as well use what I paid for with my warranty which lead to some annoying results from a factory reset of my system. It got rid of the trackpad issue but it reset just about everything else.

The problem is, I have no real way of knowing if the issue was Classic Shell or something else that was installed. I didn't have much installed and the Geeksquad guy did mention that he had seen issues with mods such as Classic Shell before, but I don't know.

Has anyone had any function problems with Classic Shell installed?

You can be 100% sure that Classic Shell does not affect systemwide trackpad scrolling behavior.

Do you see the problem in different programs or is it just in Explorer?
