been using win-10
(home) 64bit for several months … factory oem was win-8.0 … looking forward to when microsoft finally gives full green-light to the anniv-edition.
upgraded from
ClassicShellSetup_4_2_1 to
ClassicShellSetup_4_3_0 … chose to install over existing installation.
[right-click link] after successful installation, the
"metallic-skin" seems to be missing from csm's drop-down-menu
(skin tab). am i looking in the wrong place? do i need to click
"reset" in the interface? is a
*.skin7 file
only for win7 os? fwiw … the
Metallic.skin7 file does reside in
C:/program-files/classic-shell's skins-folder.
ummm:
- already rebooted comp (no change).
- csm's local help-file stated if the file was in the folder, it would display in the "settings" interface.
- i tried searching google using this as a filter: missing skin site:classicshell.net/forum … no dice.
ref: csm … classic-start-menu
edit: oh … and i did install/configure with admin rights.
