An update request .. .
This is old & boring..
Each time a person drags an object to the start menu, or creates a shortcut by dragging it there, the start menu has always auto-closed itself since windows was born..
In my case, i create shortcuts & need to, then, rename the shortcut & see how it looks in the list to replace it, but naturally, after dragging and dropping, windows closes the start menu & we have to reopen it & return to the folder where the shortcut was created..
I can close the start menu by clicking elsewhere on the desktop or browser or another app. But i'd like to decide when i should close it after having dragged a new object or created a shortcut..
