it'd be very useful if we could right-click an item in the custom menu and click "Copy Item" as well as Edit or Rename Item

that way we can simply change a keyword or something, to make multiple similar items, instead of doing everything from scratch..

and browsing to a different icon would open up the folder of the path from the original item you copied

This is about the menu items or the toolbar items in the Classic Shell settings, not the files in Explorer.

I think it'd be useful if we could Ctrl+Select &/or Shift+Select multiple items in the Customize Start Menu Left Section, so we could easily copy 10 blank items with separators at a time..

like 1 or 2 blank items above and below one Link to a Folder item which has "Multi-Column", "Split Button", & a Custom Icon selected, then we could highlight all of those, and Ctrl+Drag & Drop them to repeat that pattern with those settings

also, i'd like to be able to Limit the Row Width to a certain % of the screen.. some folders have 8 columns across the screen and some folders have only 5 or 6 filling the entire screen.. I'd like some blank space so its easy to click off it without using the keyboard..

or I'd like the columns to only expand to the right, and never to the left of the folder.

just some suggestions.. or does anyone know how to do this?

I tried "Mutli-Columns if they Fit" but it doesnt really do multi-column enough of the time..

Maybe something like:

"Multi-Column up to: _(n)_ Columns to the: --Right-- : --Right & Left--"

&:

"Fill Screen Completely: "--Yes-- : --No--"

The settings UI is not intended to be a full-featured editor. There is no need as most users will simply add or tweak a few items.
For more serious editing export the settings to XML and use a text editor to modify multiple items at a time.
