I would assume so..., that way it knows what you were doing at the time of a crash
, why are you trying to store something in it?

"C:\Users\Gary\AppData\Local\StartMenuLog.txt" Just noticed this file. Get's overwritten when I hover over anything on the menu. Is this for debugging? |

Yes it's for debugging and troubleshooting. Depending on what the registry value has been set to, it logs a variety of things. Change the "LogLevel" value in the registry to turn it off if you aren't having problems. |

In the beta build I log everything regardless of the registry setting. The log file is created every time you open the menu. |
