AMERICA Red, white, and blue.

Works with version CSM 4.2.4 Made for Windows 10. Can work on Win 7.
After downloading file, paste in skins folder. Usually C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\Skins
Exit CSM, restart CSM, and go to "Start Menu Style" tab. Pick "Windows 7 style".
Pick "AMERICA RWB" in Skin tab.

Inspiration for skin.
I enjoyed crossing the border to USA, on the weekends.
Wandering along old deer trails around small lakes, and streams, amid the tall dark trees.
There would always be in the middle of nowhere, small old houses, displaying the American flag.
With the flag boldly and proudly saying, "I am here"
I borrowed the newer, brighter flag colors. No trans, or glass color change.

Has a few experimentals:
1.User name added. (Thanks Ivo) :)
2.Different user picture frames. The simple round slim frames took many hours to get acceptable.
3.Very small and subtle "N" for new installed programs/apps.
It's crude. Position floats a bit, and could be covered up by other text, on main menu.

Now, a little tongue in cheek.
Had to upload, before the border/web wall gets built. South Park can't be wrong.

The stripes can be turned off, to reveal Canada....... Post colours.

You dont need to exit csm, just close out of the settings, and re-open em :P

Hi Jcee.
After being embarrassed at work, being told by IT,
by not logging off, or restarting, some files in use can't change,
better to play it safe. In that case, a different program.
Our cell wasted so much time troubleshooting, until IT fixed in 30 seconds.

Probably you are right about CSM, if it's a brand new skin.
I've encountered a number of refresh problems,
more due to repeatedly replacing a modified skin, with same name.
Where the change did not happen, or when the menu won't open for 5 to 15 seconds, after replacing a skin.
During the waiting time, I'm thinking, oh shoot, I really buggered up the skin now.
Then menu eventually pops up, without any skin error window? It's like the program can't make up mind!
Open as normal, or reinitialize?

Different topic, helpfull info for reskinners.
Yesterday, was just about to upload, then decided to make sure skin works in Win7.
It didn't. Right away, up came a box window, saying skin not compatable with Windows 7.
This was originally the Metro skin. I changed engine to version 2 - no difference.
Ah. I had to get rid of a couple of remaining start screen color texts, and associated red masks.
Then it worked. I should have used the aero skin. :)

Ive never had to restart for a skin, though your right it is good practice to do-so if in question. Also Im not quite sure why it wouldnt load as a .skin7 (my guess is Ivo put some kinda safty check) I havnt made a .skin7 in a long time (the only one I technically made was my aero glass skin, and that was just changing the extension to .skin7, but it worked fine, except for a few un-skinned bits)

I'm probably doing something wrong, which is the norm for me. :)
Replacing the file say an average of 100 times for making a skin,
is bound to have a couple of hiccups along the way.
